Satisfied and happy. I can't believe I've never done this - maybe there are some living witnesses out there who can remind me. Normally it is not good enough to translate "spokojný s niečim" as "satisfied with ...", because somehow the English expression means a weaker level of appreciation, more like "akurát uspokojený".

It's necessary to use a more positive English word, and I say that "happy with ..." expresses the same level of appreciation as the Slovak "spokojný s ...". Note that it's the combination of words "happy + with" that has this meaning, so it's different from "Happy birthday", and this is another example of the principle of translating MEANING rather than individual words. "Satisfactory" on English school reports is the equivalent of "dostačujúce" on Slovak ones, and I don't know anyone who is really "spokojný" with grade four.
