in Slovakia, takes a responsible approach to informing
the public about its activities and goals, and the Visitors Center helps to share this information.

Plant Tour Application
From the process of production of steel and flat rolled products it is possible to see
- how scrap is charged at the Steelworks, desulphurized and poured hot metal (molten iron) into the converters
- conversion of hot liquid steel into the solid slabs at the Continuous Caster
- rolling of reheated slabs and coiling an even hot strip into the coils at the Hot Strip Mill
- rolling stands at the Cold Rolling Mill and the lines of the Coated Products and Tin Mill, where special coatings are applied onto very thin steel sheets
- the production of spiral-welded pipes in the Pipe shop
- on the bus tour: scrapyard, rotary dumpers, sinter plant, blast furnaces, cokery, the biological waste water treatment plant, power plant
