PATTERNED STEEL
Characteristics
Patterned hot rolled plates are made from general structural steels in accordance with standard EN 10025; shape and size of hot rolled patterned plates are specified by standards DIN 59 220 and
ASTM A 786. The exact shapes of patterns in these standards are not
identical.
Patterns in the shapes of diamonds or tears are impressed on one side of the plate surface. A bend test is performed on samples without patterns. Upon agreement, we are able to produce patterned steel with the pattern turned upside down. U. S. Steel Košice has implemented and maintains a quality control system in accordance with the standard EN ISO 9001,as well as in accordance with IATF 16949 for automotive industry, issued by TÜV SÜD.
Applications
The patterned plates are applied as flooring boards where
a robust and wear resistant anti-slip flooring is required - i.e. factory shops flooring, staircases and treads, footbridges, ships, etc.
