Applications
Sheets made of fine-grained steel are characterized by improved resistance against atmospheric corrosion. A layer of alloying elements oxides causes the improved resistance. The sheets are typically used in the building industry.
U. S. Steel Košice has implemented and maintains a quality control system in accordance with the standard EN ISO 9001 issued by TÜV SÜD.
Grades
The hot rolled products are classified into quality grades according to chemical composition and mechanic properties.
