polymers and inorganic compounds providing steel with highly advanced properties, such as improved formability, corrosion resistance and paintability.

Steel coated with Thin Organic Coating is suitable especially for forming processes including stamping, profiling and roll
forming, making it applicable for structural parts of electronic devices such as wide flat - screen TVs.

CHARACTERISTICS

Steel with Thin Organic Coating represents an efficient solution for applications where traditional passivated or oiled galvanized material is utilized, especially
in rust sensitive conditions.

They are suitable for both, interior and exterior applications as well as exposed and unexposed parts.

Thin Organic Coating makes surfaces resistant to finger prints. Moreover, these steels are suitable for painting without any pre-treatment.

Thanks to good adhesion to polyurethane foams, steel with Thin Organic Coating make a good solution for sandwich panels with insulation.

TOC compared to regular hot-dip galvanized steels

Compared to HDG with passivation, steel with the TOC have three times better corrosion resistance and maintain the same great weldability. Additonally, the layer of the TOC decreases friction by one third of its previous level.
