STEELS FOR AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

Applications

Steels for the automotive industry are suitable for cold forming. They exhibit high mechanical resistance due to solid solution hardening with phosphorus. Because of their good impact and fatigue resistance they are used for pressing parts of automotive bodies and for automotive structural components.

Grades

Cold rolled products are classified into quality grades according to
their chemical composition and mechanic properties.
