Kosice, April 20, 2005 - Kosice winter sports stadium has a new name - STEEL ARENA, Kosice L. Trojak's stadium. The new logo was presented to the public by
U. S. Steel Kosice President Christopher Navetta on the occasion of the Kosice Ice-Hockey Day. As he said: "This is a symbol of common efforts of Kosice ice-hockey
friends to create a value in the city that will remain here."
The event realized within the framework of the exhibition When a ball was replaced by a puck, dedicated to 75 anniversary of ice-hockey organized in Slovakia, was
accompanied by autographs giving from current and past ice-hockey stars of HC Kosice. The Kosice Ice-Hockey Day in the Slovak technical museum was opened by Kosice Mayor Zdenko Trebula. The
exposition presenting achievements of Kosice ice-hockey players is open to the public until May 3, 2005.
