After a break of nearly a year we have succeeded in organizing a weekend stay for families involved in the We Are With You At The Right Time project at the USSK Further Training facility in Medzev. We have families in this project with disabled children, families of employees suffering from long-term illnesses, as well as families in which a partner has died who used to work for U. S. Steel Košice.

Invitations were accepted by five families, and they enjoyed the weekend of July 3-4 tremendously. There were fun-sports activities, creative workshops in the afternoons with five creative skill focuses, an evening nine-pins tournament, and of course great relaxation, nice weather and good food. These were the families of Peter Mojžiš, Anna Čírová, Jozef Boritáš, Vratislav Vámoš and Robert Andráši.

“It was very pleasant spending time with some nice people. These are families who each have their own cross to bear, but they haven’t forgotten how to laugh. We had a load of fun together in a very nice place. We did some sports, and we went a bit crazy in the creative workshops. For the children it was surely a great start to the summer,” said Peter Mojžiš, summing up the weekend stay also on behalf of his family.
