On February 27 in Košice the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia opened the gates to the 14th edition of its annual Job Fair, at which visitors were offered opportunities for employment, internships and work experience by 32 foreign and Slovak companies working in the fields of information technology, consultancy, finance, accounting, manufacturing and steelmaking.
The event was opened by AmCham CEO Jake Slegers and USSK Vice President Human Resources Martin Pitorák and was also attended by Company President Scott Buckiso. The Košice steelworks had its traditional stand at the Job Fair, and many interested visitors came to get first-hand information about possibilities of work or summer internships, but also of a new feature offered by the Company: whole-year internships for college students.
