Director Government and EU Liaison Michal Pintér at U. S. Steel Košice's Bratislava office has been appointed by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) as a delegate to the Consultative Committee for Industrial Change (CCMI) on a joint proposal from the Association of European Steel Producers (EUROFER), the Association of European Producers of Steel for Packaging (APEAL) and the Metal Packaging Europe organization.
As one of the 51 members of CCMI, Michal Pintér will carrying out his mandate for a period of five years. The Committee delegates are divided equally into three groups, advising resectively on the business sector, labor organizations and the non-governmental (“third”) sector. From 2010 through 2015 Michal Pintér was a member of EESC for the employers' group, as well as its Vice President from 2013.
