On Monday, July 2, U. S. Steel Košice opened its gates to thirty-three college and university students, who have come to the steelworks to acquire practical working exerience. This was the beginning of the 16th edition of the annual two-month summer internship, which offers the students an interesting program of activity. They will spend three days each week working in their allocated workplaces, whether in production or in specialist departments, where the interns guided by their mentors will be involved in working on the real tasks and projects they are assigned to. The other two days will be devoted to training courses focusing on developing their so-called “soft skills”, i.e. personnel management and communication skills.
