Last week (August 5 – 9) the by now 13th annual summer ice-hockey school run by HC Košice involved 51 promising young players including one talented girl. In the Steel Arena training hall, but also in several other interesting places, the children had the opportunity to learn more about the craft of ice-hockey and to show off their skills and determination.
The camp was intended for pupils in the first stage of elementary school, i.e. children aged six to eleven, who were divided into two teams.
The young hockey players trained every day on the ice and in the gym, where they also played soccer, basketball or floorball. And since this was camp with whole-day duration, they also visited children's fun-sports centers.
