Since 2012 the financial daily Hospodárske noviny and its partners have been acknowledging the skills and inspirational qualities of women managers with their ranking of the TOP 10 businesswomen in Slovakia. The aim of this competition is to identify and present to the public women who have achieved success in their field of activity, but also to draw attention to the employment of women and their access to top management positions, and thus also to stimulate discussion about diversity generally.

The jury is composed of leading business figures and representatives of the competition organizers, and in this year's voting on the top businesswoman in Slovakia they awarded first place to U. S. Steel Košice Vice President Subsidiaries and Services Elena Petrášková.
