This Monday, May 9, saw the start of a five-day external audit at U. S. Steel Košice, during which a team of auditors from the TÜV SÜD Slovakia certification company will be verifying the efficiency of our quality management system in accordance with the ISO/TS 16949:2009 and EN/ISO 9001:2008 standards. The auditors will be checking not only the primary production processes, but also specific support processes in other sections of the Company, including management. The auditors are expected to present their findings at the concluding meeting with the President and management of U. S. Steel Košice this Friday, May 13^th.
