Following this year's international comparative tests for measuring chemical elements in steel (carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, manganese, quartz, phosphorus, chrome, nickel, copper, aluminium and molybdenum) which U. S. Steel Košice subsidiary Labortest, s.r.o. took part in back in February, the results are now known, and Labortest Director Ladislav Rožek can be more than happy. Our Quantometric Laboratory was ranked among the best of the participating laboratories. “These international comparative tests were organized by the accredited institute SPL Bohumín, and 67 laboratories from 12 countries were involved. Our good result was based on the Z score achieved, indicating the precision of measuring, which just goes to confirm the high professional standard of our employees,” says Ladislav Rožek.
