Giant slalom and snowboard 2017
           

Winter Sports Games

 

Around 300 participants came to the Jahodná ski center near Košice on February 4, 2017.  Steelmakers' children between 6 and 18 years of age as well as company employees in seven age categories competed in the giant slalom event. Juniors and adults alike tried their strengths in the snowboard competition. Part of the event was the 19th edition of the Children's Winter Carnival.

Program:

7.00 am - registration of children for the giant slalom
7.30 am - registration of participants in the giant slalom and snowboarding
7.45 am - start of the children's giant slalom
9.00 am - grand opening ceremony
9.25 am - start of the snowboarding
10.00 am - children's winter carnival
10.30 am - start of the 1st round of giant slalom for men and women
11.00 am -  awards ceremony for the giant slalom and snowboarding children
1.00 pm - start of the 2nd round of giant slalom for men and women
1.20 pm - awards ceremony for the children's carnival
3.30 pm - awards ceremony for the giant slalom
4.00 pm - bus departure to Košice
